Over the years, our federation has sponsored many missions to Israel. Hundreds of people in our community have had the chance to join together and see the many varied perspectives that Israel offers: the cultural, historical, religious, political and even personal sides that make the country so meaningful and empowering. They described their vivid experience in narrative essay https://best-writing-service.com/personal-narrative-essay

Now Jewish Federation of Central New Jersey is excited to offer two back-to-back trips to Israel.

The first in a Young Leaders Mission, departing late Saturday night October 16 and returning on Sunday October 24. Designed for those ages 28 – 50, this trip will take its participants to visit the Golan Heights so they can see its strategic importance. It will also go to Arad and the Dead Sea, our Partnership 2000 community, and spend extensive time in Jerusalem.

The second trip is the statewide Mitzvah Mission, Oct. 30 – Nov. 8. This group is open to all adults. It includes visits both north and south with time spent in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and our partner region Arad/Tamar, in the Dead Sea.

Both trips include airfare, fully guided tours and most meals.

"This is the right time to go," Leonard Posnock, Missions Committee chair, said. " "it's a wonderful time of year in Israel and it will invigorate and excite all of us who participate."

"We need to recharge our spiritual batteries," added Herb Maltz of Elizabeth. "A visit to Israel is unlike any other kind of vacation. Going to Israel is visiting family and going with friends makes it all the more exciting."

Highlights of both trips include meeting with elected officials and military and political experts. "But what makes this particularly enriching is the time we spend with ordinary Israelis, finding out how they respond to the situation that they live with on a regular basis. We go over thinking that we are supporting them, but after listening to them, we discover that we're the ones who are strengthened."
